Our Bella Besties class ensures lots of one-on-one attention with the teacher and a parent helper so that dancers who need a little more support than what our traditional classroom setting offers can still dance their hearts out without the strain of expectations.  We learn ballet and jazz movements to storybook themes and give the dancers the ability to step aside from the classroom if they need a brain break or a breather with a parent's assistance.

HOW OUR CLASSROOM IS UNIQUE FOR BELLA BESTIES:
The classroom environment features a closed curtain at the back wall to provide a more personal classroom environment free from additional distractions, as well as allowing the back of the studio to function as a separate space for a dancer who might need a calming space for a break. Stations are set up at tables in this space to provide parents with options for whatever their dancer might need to help them refocus. We recognize that, as a parent, you know best what helps your dancer! For Bella Besties classes, we take into consideration our dancers' sensory needs; the lights and music can remain low for dancers who prefer a less stimulating environment. We dress up to match our story theme at the end of each class in sensory-friendly apparel guaranteed to be stretchy, soft and comfortable!

​HOW OUR CURRICULUM IS UNIQUE FOR BELLA BESTIES:
​The curriculum for this class features movements from our age appropriate Bunnies classes (2.5-4 years) as well as our Butterflies classes (4-6 years) but we will customize it based on the makeup of students in your Bella Besties class.  We learn a dance to perform at the end of the session as well as in our optional recitals!  All dances can be modified around physical limitations or equipment!

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE BELLA BESTIES CLASS FORMAT:
Our class format is unique to Bella Besties: we recognize that all children learn and develop differently—what works for one child might not work for all! Bella Besties allows your dancer to dance their heart out without the stress of following traditional classroom expectations such as staying in one place for long periods of time, maintaining attention without assistance, or staying engaged for the entire class period. Bella Besties provides a safe place for your dancer to learn and grow based on their individual strengths and needs. Your dancer will never be treated differently - the only unique element will be the way that we approach this class!
